In Uganda school resumed two weeks ago after a long Christmas break. Lily Kindergarten and Primary School, recently built by The Ssubi Foundation is looking great and all is well. They have received an increase in enrolment (50 students) since the school was completed. The solar lights are proving to be very effective; the schools are now offering evening classes to students who need extra tutorials.
As you can see the new slide on the playground is extremely popular.
Dusman was also recently in Northern Uganda to visit our sponsor children, pay schools fees and provide them with scholastic materials. He also visited the site where we plan to build a new school library and teacher accommodations this summer which we are in the process of raising funds for.
