Dusman is currently in Gulu checking up on sponsor children, the schools we support and meeting with the administation from Ayila Community Primary School about a project for next summer. Somehow along the way he managed to get a meeting one on one with Musevini, the President of Uganda. If you  met Dusman and heard him speak you realise how this could happen. Well Musevini must have been impressed and Dusman spent the day riding in a helicopter around northern Uganda with president Musevini to visit and speak with a number of northern communities. The next day he was back checking on Ssubi projects and he found bats in the teacher quarters at Lela Obaro again. I really have no idea what he plans to do tomorrow

Dusman continues to be impressed with the progress at Lilly Kindergarten and Primary School. They now have 240 students ranging from Kindergarten to Primary 7.  Since The Ssubi Foundation rebuilt the school in 2008, they have added Primary 6 and 7. This November, the first seven students from Lilly will take national A level exams. We wish them luck.

Lilly playground receives a natural wash. The landscaping and trenches implemented during the 2007 construction, helps keep water out of the classrooms. Dusman titled this photo “raining cats and donkeys.”
