PROGRAMS: Education

Jordan Kinyera is seven years old and attends grade one at Bright Valley Academy School, a boarding school located in Gulu town, Northern Uganda.

Jordan now lives at the school but previously had lived with his mother, Florence, in Gulu town. His father was killed during the civil war in Northern Uganda. In addition to the educational support provided by The Ssubi Foundation, Florence has received micro-financing and has started a second-hand clothing store and beauty parlor.
